Christine was the mother of Benjamin Bartholomew (Autumn); grandmother of Ethan Bartholomew; daughter of the late Anna Mahler Gaubert and Russell Gaubert Sr; sister of Russell Gaubert Jr. (Deidre); niece of Gertie Perque and J.D. Mahler. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
She was known for her generous and loving spirit, leaving people happier than when they had met. She could always be counted on to be where she was needed. She enjoyed travelling with her friend, Marvin. She loved being with family. She is also remembered for her devotion to her Catholic faith.
A Memorial Service will be held in the parlor of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM. Inurnment will follow on a later date at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Mausoleum.
