

Mr. Clarence Joseph Badeaux , age 86, joined his beloved parents, Horace and Hattie Badeaux, along with his sister, Rosemary Terrebone, into his eternal home with his Lord and Savior, on Monday, October 27, 2014. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 1, 2014, at 11:00 am, in Our Lady of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose, Louisiana.
A native of Cutoff, Louisiana, and former resident of Westwego and Marrero, Mr. Badeaux is survived by his children, Karen B. Kristensen (Keld), Clarence P. Badeaux (Anna), Dennis J. Badeaux (Felicia), Christopher A. Badeaux (Deborah), Elizabeth B. Sheets (William); grandchildren, Jonathan, Thomas, Aaron, Stacey, Mellissa, Dennis, Lance, Dustin, Christopher, Amber, Brandon, Romel, and Nicholas; siblings, Daniel Badeaux, Lloyd “Chip” Badeaux, Betty Martin, Ruth Hebert, and Esther Horning; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
“Bad Boy Badeaux” was a pioneer in the world of wrestling, being one of the original competitors in the Southeast Region. A man, passionate about people, and a true believer in Christ, Mr. Badeaux will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He retired from Avondale Harvey Shipyard as an outside machinest after more than twenty years . Mr. Badeaux served our country in the Panama Canal as a member of the Merchant Marines.
Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 1, 2014, in Our Lady of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose, Louisiana. Interment will follow in the Church cemetery.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to his special niece Roxie Bruno, and caregivers Ethel Johnson and Kathy Scienoux, for their loving tenderness and devotion.
Arrangements will be conducted by Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, Louisiana.
