Claudette L. Albro

May 24, 1935March 15, 2011

Claudette Lemoine Albro of Plaucheville, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA for 42 years. Beloved wife of the late Malroy R. Albro. Daughter of the late Albert J. Lemoine Sr. and Claudia Gremillion Lemoine. Sister of Theresa (Lena) Dykes, as well as the late Albert Jr. and Calvin Lemoine. Mother of the Diane Albro Ronquille and her husband Tony. Grandmother of Chantel Ronquille Mayfield and husband Eric, Casey Ronquille and Brad Ronquille. Great grandmother of Mallory. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Relatives, friends of the family, and Jefferson Parish School System are invited to attend the funeral services at the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2605 River Rd., New Orleans, LA 70121. The entire family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Simonson, Dr. Staab at West Jefferson Medical Center, and the Heart of Hospice.

Diane, I am so sorry about your loss. Your mother was always so sweet to me. I will treasure the holidays spending time playing horseshoes by your Uncle Calvin's house with your father, Steve and Uncle Albert. Sitting around chatting with Claudette. She was a genuine, down to earth person. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
