Mrs. Connie Camardelle

Connie Fontenot Camardelle passed away on March 10, 2016 at the age of 64. She is predeceased by her father Wilson Joseph Fontenot, and her husband, Melvin Josesph Camardelle. She is survived by her mother Lillie Dugas Fontenot, her siblings, Kieth Fontenot, Karen Fontenot, Batson (John), Greg Fontenot, Mark Fontenot (Stacie); her children, Theresa Heingarten (Kevin), Marie Crews (John), Thomas Eure, and Angela Rodrigue (Louis); grandchildren Megan Barrios, Quinten Barrios, Vincent Eid, Andrew McCloskey, Jakob Eure, Jordan Eure, Elizabeth Rodrigue, Hannah Rodrigue, and Wilson Rodrigue. She is also survived by beaucoup extended family members. She was a native of Luling and a longtime resident of Westwego. She brightened the world of everyone who knew her and was always the life of the party. Her heart of gold provided a fun safe haven for all of her grandchildren, and she meant the world to each of them. She loved her children and family without reserve and will be greatly missed by all.

A Memorial Service will be held at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 7:00 PM. Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM.
