Connie Caraway Jackson

Those left to cherish her memories are her beloved mother, Elizabeth Ochello Caraway and her father, Lemmie “L.G.” Caraway and her mother-in-law, Rosemary M. Wigle, her brother, Tommy L. Caraway (Tammy). Loving mother of Bryn L. Jackson, Felicia L. Jackson (Brian), Kaitlyn R. Jackson (Joe), Luke A. Jackson (Leane) and Dwayne M. Jackson (Tara). Proud grandmother of Savannah, Kaiden, Brecken, Lindsey, Destinee, Skyla, Lukelyn, Ashtyn, Moinet, Dalton, Peyton, Landon and Slade. Also survived by her aunt; Chermaine M.Viverette, uncle; Edward Mixon, niece; Miquelle Gaudet, nephew; Joshua Brown and preceded in death by her sister, Lana Caraway Elliot.

Connie was the Assistant Manager at Honey Baked Ham and a long time caterer at Caraway Catering.

Age 51, a native of New Orleans, LA and a lifelong resident of Marrero.

Connie leaves many fond memories of compassion, kindness and loyalty to her family and many friends who will miss her dearly.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 3:00 p m. Visitation from 1:00 p.m. until service time. At the family’s request, the interment will be private.
