Dagoberto Martinez

Dagoberto Martinez entered peacefully in to heaven on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at the age of 88. He was born on April 5, 1933 in San Salvador, El Salvador to the late Adolfo and Delfina P. Martinez. He was the devoted husband of the late Marta B. Martinez. Loving father of Dagoberto A. (Sherre), Mario E., Fernando A. (Helen), Sandra Y. (Marc) and Luis E. (Reyna). He was the loving grandfather of Ceasar, Monica, Martha, Jackie, Yarenis, Carissa, Gianna, Erica, Sophia, Indra, Elaina, Emily, Sarah, Sabrina, Luis and Ernesto; great-grandfather of 23. Brother of Marina, Argelia, Oscar, Mauricio, Aracely and Rolando and the late Maria Lydia, Alfredo, Blanca and Gustavo. He is also survived by many niece, nephews, cousins and friends.

Dagoberto was truly loved and will be dearly missed by his family and anyone who knew him.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Friday, March 4, 2022 beginning at 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero. Funeral Mass will begin at 12:00 pm and interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery, Gretna.
