Daisy Mae Marie Armstrong

Daisy Mae Marie Armstrong passed away on June 11, 2023 at the age of 74. She was born on July 3, 1948 in Pointe Au Chien Montegut, Louisiana to the late Joseph and Luica Billiot. Loving sister of Calvin Billiot (the late Gloria), Lionel Billiot (Shelia) and the late Lonice Billiot (Linda) and Manuel Billiot (Alicia). Daisy is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. She was also preceded in death by her ex-husband David Armstrong.

Daisy graduated from West Jefferson High School in 1967. She enjoyed cooking, shopping and telling stories. Several of her stories were put together in a book by her family so that they could be shared for generations to come. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, spoiling her nieces and nephews, who she loved like her own children.

Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Thursday, June 15, 2023 beginning at 3:00 PM at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, in Marrero. The visitation will follow from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
