Dalila del Carmen Perdomo-Castro, age 90, died peacefully on Wednesday, January 21, 2015. Ms. Perdomo was a native of Honduras and a resident of New Orleans for 50 years. She proudly became a United States citizen in 1994. She retired from the Marriott Corporation, where she was a devoted worker for over 20 years.
Ms. Perdomo is survived by her loving family, Leysabel Paz, Bella Torres, Sonia Rivera, Zoila Rivera and Leslie Melendez, Rene A. Rivera, Osmin Rivera, Ramon D. Castro and Francisco O. Castro.
The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the staff of Wynhoven Health Center for their loving care.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Theresa of Avila Church, 1404 Erato Street, New Orleans, Louisiana, on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in Honduras.
