Otero, Danielle Arlene Bennett on 3/14/2018 at 11:18am, life support was removed due to a brain hemmorage. She was a resident of Metairie, La. Born on 12/25/1967 (age 50) in New Orleans, La. She was employed by All America Personal Care and Jefferson Parish Parks and Recreation. She was a special programs instructor and volunteer of JPRD.
Survived by beloved husband Robert Louis Otero, cherished son Cort Alexander Otero. The heartbeat of her mother Adele Blank Bennett, father the late Isaac Bennett Jr. Loving brother Marcus Samuel Dwayne Bennett (Monique). Nephews Tyler, Blake B, Blake O, Jake, & Casey. Nieces, Yvonne & Tiffany. Grand nephew Conner step nephew Michael, Malcolm and step niece Courtney. Brother in law Michael, Timothy & Enrico.Sister in law Nancy Bradley (Michael).
Danielle was a wife mother daughter sister aunt and friend. Her family was her heart and soul. Her love for special children was an undeniable privilege. She loved all of the people she worked with. Her hobbies were crafts, cooking with her husband and son, gardening and cuddling with the family cat Mystic.
Her departure from Earth life was sudden and too soon. She did anything for anyone without the thought of returning favors. Her joy in life was also spending time with her best friend Raquel Authement and daughter Gemma who she was Aunt DD too. She loved traveling to different places and learning about cultures & enjoying the scenery. Country music & line dancing was the highlight at special dances. Her favorite dance was the Wobble. A true loving soul that now flys with the angels. We know you're in a better place smiling from above. We will always miss your special kind of love.
A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, on Monday, March 26, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Memorial Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM. Inurnment will be Restlawn Park Cemetery. A reception following inurnment will be at 2:00pm at Ree Alario Center located at 6600 Saints Dr. in Metairie.
