I worked on the West Bank at one point. Dawn and I would have weekly lunch dates we often sent pictures to Kenny when we did mainly because he would always say she stole his friend. Our friendship quickly turned in to a bond  that is unbreakable.  My heart already misses you mama D fly high my heart 

I am so glad we got to be apart of this trip. 

So many good memories we had together to list just one.

Ms. Dawn was such a  great friend and wonderful neighbor.  Her and Mr. Kenny both  was always ready and willing to lend a helping hand in anything, such beautiful neighbors. She would always keep in touch with a text or call. We will deeply miss her so very much. Her last text to me on  was she love me, and I texted her back saying, I love you more,  and she replied no way possible!! Rest In Heaven my buddy, my friend.

Condolences to you Cheryl and Dawn’s family. It was my loss and misfortune not to have met Dawn in person. But I thank the LORD for enabling me to meet my cousin Dawn on Facebook and feel her joy and love of life. Her faith in Christ warmed my heart giving me the expectation of the confident hope of joining her in the glory of God’s love for eternity in the new resurrected faultless body and spirit on the new earth and heaven.

It is hard to say Good-Bye. To the sweet little blonde headed cousin I knew. I am one of Dawn's northern cousins so our bond was long distance. My daddy was her daddy's brother. How she loved her own daddy and how she loved family, that was her heart. The joy in her recent trip to Florida with her grandson I could feel her joy through the distance as I looked at the pictures. In my last trip to New Orleans with my sister Mary, Dawn helped navigate us as we were lost. Her brilliance for knowing where we were over the phone, and her laughter as she could hear Mary and I conversing, I will never forget. Her kindness as we sat and talked about family. She shared her life and the love story of Ken Robles her hubby. Her southern accent was like my daddy's accent. I am sure her arms are wrapped around her daddy and all of our family that has gone before us. Until we meet again my sweet blonde southern cousin. I love you.

Our deepest sympathies to you Ken and the family.  Please know that our hearts and thoughts are with you during this very difficult time.  You are not alone in remembering what a truly wonderful woman Dawn was and that she meant so much to so many. Myself and Herbi send Our sincere condolences on the loss of Dawn. We were so sorry to hear of her passing. She always kept in touch with me to check on how Herbi was doing as did I check on her to see how she how she was doing. I’m so sorry we won’t be able to attend Dawn’s service’s but Herbi is in the hospital and has been for the last 5 days and still has about 5 to 6 more days left. Please know we will keep all of you in out thoughts and prayers as you all go through this difficult time. Dawn will definitely be missed. Dawn was my closest and most loved( by me) first cousin! We were very lucky to get to see each other at least once a year when we were young; living in different states. We wrote to each other all the time and shared so many memories with each other. We even had a secret code so nobody knew what we were talking about. My most favorable memory and letter is the one she sent me when she met this guy named Kenny. Boy was she smitten and in love with him!! Long story short, they went their separate ways, each had a family, and each ended up divorcing. Then, by luck, and by Kenny’s sister LaDonna, they reunited and married with my Aunt Betty Winter’s Blessing. Our Precious Lord needed Dawn, and in time; He will need Kenny as well, and they will be reunited for all eternity! My love and Prayers are with my beloved Family and to all the people who knew my Dawn, Dawn!! She will be sorely missed.
