He is survived by his beautiful daughters Ashley Martin (Nick) and Elizabeth Martin Falgout (Chad, Jr.). He is the loving grandfather of Gracie Carroll, Kali Falgout, Kinley Carroll and Taysom Falgout. He is the beloved brother of Claire Monson (Richard) and Mary Hunter. He is the loving brother-in-law to Donna Martin and Roy Williams, Sr. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Fritz, Sr., and Mary Toups Martin, his siblings, Corrine Winter, Cora Ordoyne, Fay Williams and Fritz Martin, Jr.
Dean loved hosting family gatherings on the bayou, and especially time spent with his grandkids.
A Funeral Mass for Dean will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 in the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. A visitation will begin at 8:30AM and continue until the Mass.
