Dickie Allen Davis

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dickie Allen Davis, 60, of Gretna, Louisiana, who died on June 16, 2025 at West Jefferson Medical Center. Dickie was was born on April 15, 1965 in Gretna, Louisiana to the late Eberdean "Dick" Davis and Geneva "Genie" Wallace. Dickie is survived by his brothers Henry Wallace and Wesley Davis (Yvonne), his sister Anna Davis Badeaux (Jeffery), his nieces Amber Dennis, Pastora Standeford (Leonard), and his nephew Nathan Badeaux (Brittan). Dickie is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Randall Davis, and his nephew Matthew Dennis. Dickie is also survived by great nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends who are left to cherish his memory.

Dickie had a passion for mechanics. He worked for Bo's Power Generator and Equipment Repair for over 15 years where he was treated like family by the owners, Bo and Jamie Rodriguez. When he wasn't working he enjoyed riding his motorcycle and hanging out at Lucky's Casino in Belle Chasse with his friends and family.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana.
