Dolores Ann Jaycox

Dolores Ann Penn Jaycox passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 15, 2013. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 60 years, John F. Jaycox. Mother of Karen J. White (Kendall), Jennifer J. Dennies (Mike), Skip Jaycox (Debbie), Elizabeth J. Lanier (the late Shelby) and the late Mark A. Jaycox. A proud grandmother of Jared White (Becky), Josh White, Jenson Dennies, Jaymi Dennies, Jessica Jaycox, and Jean-Paul Miles. Great grandmother of Jackson White.

Daughter of the late Mae Scioneaux Penn and Eugene Penn. Sister of Shirley P. Perkins, Eugene J. Penn III, and Steven Penn.

Age 78, born in Franklin, LA and a lifelong resident of Gretna, LA. “Dee” was a retired floral designer and artist. Her talent won awards and publications for her painting, recipes and other creative accomplishments.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 11:00 am. Visitation from 10:00 am to Mass time.
