Dolphia "Sonny" Lawrence Firmin Jr., age 63, of Westwego, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022. Sonny was born October 8, 1958 to the late Dolphia Firmin Sr. and Antionette Gauthier Firmin. Sonny was married to Cindy Templet Firmin for 27 loving years. Devoted father of Kayla Grace Firmin and step father of Summer Doucet Lewis. Grandfather of C.J. Lewis, Victoria Lewis, Elijah Darensburg, and Liam Darensburg. Brother of Shirley Firmin, Nina Firmin, Kenneth Firmin, Debra Bellott, Brenda Lorenzo, Lynn Stamper, and Lisa Arceneaux. Sonny is also survived by many other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
A Celebration of Life in honor of Sonny is being planned for a date in the near future.
