Dominick Luke Nuccio a native of Marrero passed away on Monday, November 17, 2014 at the age of 82. Preceded in death by his parents Azema Laredo Nuccio and Anthony Nuccio, brothers Anthony “Slim” Nuccio, Ralph “Tosh” Nuccio and sisters Rose Hebert, Rita Nixon and Azema “Teece” Caulfield. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Jean Braselman Nuccio, daughters Maria Ann Nuccio, Jill Elizabeth Nuccio and sister Consuelo “Connie” Kirkfield. However, the people who considered him family are too numerous to mention. He was an animal lover and found himself being adopted by four legged children his entire life. He was a veteran of the US Navy and served in Korea. Dominick loved the outdoors. In leiu of flowers, the family wishes memorial donations be made to an animal or nature conservation charity of your choice.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Service on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway Marrero, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon. Interment will be private. Express condolences at www.westsideleitzeagan.com.
