Donald Anthony Oubre

He was born to the late Sylvester Johnny Oubre and Lillian Bruce Padilla. He was married to the late Rosalind Cambre Oubre for 35 years. He was also the long time companion to the late Anna Matherne for 20 years. He was the devoted father of Regina Oubre Boudreaux (Paris), the late Brian Oubre, and the late Sherri Oubre. Proud grandfather of Joshua Lantz and Caleb Oubre. Brother of David Oubre and the late Barbara Oubre. Donald is also survived by numerous lovig relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

Donald was a truck driver for over 40 years. He was known as "money hungry" to people in the trucker world and by his family and friends, as he was always dedicated and working hard. After 35 years of service with Marsh Buggies, Inc. he retired. Donald was kind hearted and would help anyone when and if he could. He will be dearly missed.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, April 5th, 2024 in the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. A visitation will begin at 9:00AM and continue until the service time. Donald will be laid to rest at Westlawn Park Cemetery in Gretna, Louisiana.
