Donald Paul Pertuit, entered eternal rest on Thursday July 2, 2026 at 3:15 AM surrounded by his loving family. Age 59 years a native of Marrero, LA and a resident of St. Tammany Parish for the past 11 years. Beloved husband of Jeanette Brown Pertuit. Stepfather of Brandon Joseph Brown, Kayla M. Judd (Derek), and Marissa A. Anthony (Devin). Grandfather of Skylar Judd, and Takoda Anthony. Brother of Donna P. Siren (David), John A. Pertuit (April), and Daniel P. Pertuit (Sarah). Son of the late Donald W. Pertuit and Gloria Taylor Pertuit. Son in law of Rebecca Leger Eymard. Uncle of Christopher Siren (LaKeisha), Peyton Pertuit (Alyce), Gavin Pertuit (Madison), Garrett Pertuit and Jenna Pertuit. Great Uncle of Shane Siren, Sydney Siren, Vivian Pertuit, and Lydia Pertuit. Master of the late Slugo, Brie, and Lucy.

Donald was a Master Welder-Fabricator his entire adult life and took pride in the great work he always strived for. He enjoyed playing music and fishing. He was an avid Motorcyclist and dearly loved spending time with his family and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family also members of A.B.A.T.E. of Louisiana-St. Tammany Parish Chapter are invited to attend the Funeral Services from the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM until services.

Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park, Gretna, LA

In lieu of flowers memorial contribution can be made to the family.
