Mr. Donald E. Pritchett Sr.

Donald Edward Pritchett, Sr. passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on July 18, 2010 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of 58 years to Betty Miller Pritchett. A wonderful, loving father to Donald, Jr., "Donnie" (Myra), Sandra (Wendall), Dwayne (Chris), Julie (Jose), Tina (Gary) and Rodney (Dawn). A loving grandfather to 19 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren. Also survived by one brother Bernard Pritchett, Jr. (Angie) and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard Pritchett, Sr. and Congetta Trentocosta Pritchett; and one brother, Floyd Pritchett. He was a member of the United States Marines Corp and proudly served his country. Donald worked as a salesman for Brown's Velvet Dairy. The family wishes to express their appreciation to Louisiana Specialty Hospital for their kind and helpful service. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass in his honor at WESTSIDE/LEITZ-EAGAN FUNERAL HOME, 5101 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY, MARRERO, LA AT 6:00 PM on Friday, July 30, 2010.
