Doris Berger

Doris “Dot” Bergeron Berger entered peacefully into heaven on Thursday, October 13, 2016. Devoted wife of the late Pierce Berger and a loving mother of Charles Berger (Beverly) and the late Richard Berger, Sr. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law Emily Rodrigue Berger. A proud grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Daughter of the late Anita Zeringue Bergeron and Charles Bergeron. Sister of the late Beatrice Bergeron Cambre, Bella Bergeron Dantin, Gabriel Bergeron, Emmerson Bergeron and Flossy Bergeron Bourgeois.

Age 94, a native of Raceland, Louisiana and a lifelong resident of Westwego, Louisiana.

“Dot” enjoyed cooking and spending time taking care of her grandchildren and spending time with neighbors and family.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Wynhoven Nursing Home for their compassionate care of “Mrs. Dot”.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 1:00 pm. Visitation from 11:00 until Mass time. Interment following in Our Lady of Prompt Succor, Westwego, Louisiana. Express condolences at www.westsideleitzeagan.com.
