Elizabeth J. Helmer passed peacefully on June 29, 2026, at the age of 86. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Earl J. Rojas and Verona E. Vincent. Elizabeth was married to the late Kermit Ernest Helmer, Sr. for 68 years. Devoted mother of Lonnie S. Helmer (Edward Savoie) and Kermit E. Helmer, Jr. (Kathryn). Loving grandmother of Dallen Helmer (Aleyna). She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
A visitation will be held from 9:00AM until 11:00AM on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. Burial will take place after the visitation at Westlawn Park Cemetery in Gretna, Louisiana.
