Elroy "Lee" or "Moon" George Eiserloh

Devoted husband of Mable Rousselle Bouvier Eiserloh of 28 years. Loving father of Mark Eiserloh and the late Keith Eiserloh, Bryan Eiserloh and Dionne E. Estrada. Also survived by his daughter-in-law, Sue Eiserloh and son-in-law Wayne Estrada, Sr. Stepfather of Sandra Bouvier, Terri Bono (Bobby), Connie Gray (Erin), and the late Earl Bouvier, Jr. (wife –Diane).

Proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Son of the late Mary H. Schmidt Eiserloh and Nicholas W. Eiserloh and preceded in death by his brothers and sisters; Douglas Eiserloh, Althea E. Cusimano, Leonard Eiserloh, Emelda E. Atwood and Eddie Eiserloh.

He is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Age 84, a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA.

“Moon” retired in 1993 after 38 years of service with New Orleans International Longshoreman’s Association Clerk and Checkers. After retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, he also enjoyed playing the ponies, playing cards and loved keeping his car clean.

The family would like to extend a warm thank you to the entire staff of Wynhoven Nursing Home, especially Levi, Notre Dame Hospice and care giver, Mona Lenormand, for the compassionate care of Elroy.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expy. Marrero, LA.
