Elsie "Blondie" Boudreaux Dufrene

Elsie “Blondie” Boudreaux Dufrene passed away at home on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the age of 82 with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late George Dufrene, loving mother of Dennis Dufrene (Christine), Bernadine Boudreaux (Lenes), Delbert Dufrene (Rhoda) and the late Debra Dufrene and the devoted grandmother of Penny Theriot (Dale), Tina Plaisance (Jed), Lance Boudreaux, Lanell Gros (Chris), Leigh Ann Boudreaux, Kaycee Gorrondona, Reivia Gorrondona, Shannon Orgeron (Mark) and the late Brandon Gorrondona. She was the great-grandmother of “T-Boy”, Brody, Hayden, Jennifer (Bryan), Brittany, Brett, Cali, Kaleb, Isabella, Haillin, Liyria, Savannah, Blake, the late Sean and the late Pipier as well as the great-great grandmother of BB. She was the daughter of the late Lloyd Boudreaux and Edna Dunn Boudreaux and is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at WESTSIDE/LEITZ-EAGAN FUNERAL HOME, 5101 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY, Marrero, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM and again on Thursday, October 18, 2012 from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM at which time a Prayer Service will be held in the Chapel.
