Elva May Marie Larousse

Elva May Larousse passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at the age of 80. She was born on December 24, 1943 in Bridge City, Louisiana to the late Arthur and Bernice LeBlanc. Devoted wife of Frank Larousse. Loving mother of Cheryl Larousse Lalonde (Carl). Proud grandmother of Danielle Danos, Tiffany Mata (Manuel), Dustin Lalonde, Jesse Lalonde (Kimberly) and great-grandmother of Emma Mata, Madden Mata and Adelyn Lalonde. Sister of Donald LeBlanc, Steve LeBlanc, Carbit LeBlanc, Gene Galino and the late Arthur LeBlanc, Jr., Audrey LeBlanc and Bobby LeBlanc. Elva is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Elva enjoyed camping and traveling, especially going to Disney World. She also enjoyed playing bingo and tending to her flower beds, but most of all she loved spend time with her family. She especially loved spending time with her grand and great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Friday, August 2, 2024 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Westside/Leitz Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero. A Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 AM and interment will follow at Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport.
