Erica has a special place in our hearts. This picture is her helping out feeding the homeless in New Orleans. The picture speaks volumes because she is there with her friend Danielle, Vera, and Esther. A picture of them serving Jesus rather than living for the world!

The night before she passed she sat in church and wept almost the entire service as I talked about living for Jesus. She was at church that night because she wanted to be there and get right with the Lord. Earlier she had taken me aside to share how she was ready to make the decision to turn to God with all her heart. I can think of no better way to stand before the Lord but to have spent the night before crying out to Him for His mercy and help.

No one knows the time or day when our last day will be but may we all like Erica have spent our last hours turning to Christ for His mercy!

Our prayers are with Carol and Patty and the rest of her family. We miss her dearly!
