Born on June 17, 1938, Faye was the beloved daughter of the late Naomi Wiseman and Thomas Wiseman. Rooted deeply in the bayou community, Faye lived a life defined by grace, devotion, and warmth. She dedicated herself entirely to the care of those around her, creating a welcoming home filled with faith, laughter, and cherished family traditions. Faye had a true passion for cooking, baking, and making homemade candy; her kitchen was the heart of her home, where the door was always open and there was always a warm plate to be had for anyone who walked through it.
Above all, Faye’s greatest pride and absolute joy were her "Boys." She was a pillar of strength, gentle guidance, and fierce, unconditional love across every generation of her family. Whether gathered around the table for family meals, lively card games, sharing stories, or offering quiet encouragement, Faye made everyone in her presence feel deeply valued and loved. Her legacy of hospitality, warmth, and devotion will live on through the family she so dearly cherished.
She is survived by her loving sons, Charles Agoff, Landry Agoff Jr., and John Agoff (Cheraine); her cherished grandchildren, Landry Agoff III (Ashley), Chase Agoff, John Agoff Jr., Lance Agoff (Stacey), and Dylan Agoff; her adored great-grandchildren, Gage Agoff, Landry Agoff IV, Hunter Agoff, and Logan Agoff; and a host of extended family and lifelong friends throughout the community.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Landry Agoff Sr.; her parents, Naomi Wiseman and Thomas Wiseman; and her siblings, Elizabeth "Betty" Matherne, Alan Wiseman, Gilda Domaingue, and Michael Wiseman.
A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held for Faye at a later date.
