OBITUARY
Felix Campesi Jr.
September 18, 1947 – March 28, 2021
Felix "Pete" Campesi Jr. passed away at home on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at the age of 73. He was the beloved husband of Barbara Campesi, and former husband of Patricia Bland Campesi. Father of Dayna Bailey (Ricky), and grandfather of Destin, Hannah, and Selena. Stepfather of Michael Barras (Crystal), and step grandfather of Luke and Abigail. He is also survived by his canine companion, Ginger. He will be dearly missed.
Pete was his happiest on a sunny day, when he could visit his friends at the coffee shop, find a deal on a broken lawnmower, and raise his garage door to fix that lawnmower. He was, is, and always will be a Marine, who was able to see the world with his beloved Corps. He loved to tinker in his tool shops and always had a project to work on. He found his purpose through that.

What a shock to hear of your passing. Thank you for your service to our country as you served in The United States Marines. We all had so much fun together back in the days of your Dad’s motel! You and Ron were always into something. He had so much love for you. I pray that Ron was there to greet you as you entered into Heaven. Wondering if you guys are fishing all the time... until we meet again, Rest In Peace . Love you ❤️

I will always remember you working out weight lifting and working on your hot rods, we had alot of fun at the motel, Saturday mornings cartoons and just hanging around the motel. I remember when I put transmission fluid in the oil on the go cart you and avery made for me out of a riding lawn mower.....and I was riding it on the empty lot next to motel and blew it up! You came out shaking your head and laughing.....you were a kind man and I only have fun memories growing up with you and the family, those memories I hold dear!! God bless you my friend until we meet again rest in peace 🙏🙏🏁🇺🇸🍺

Decades have passed since I knew Pete from my childhood. It is from my continued friendship with Cassie, his sister, that I heard of his passing. My prayers are with the family during this difficult time. I remember when Pete lived with his wife and daughter in the trailer behind Felix Motel. I even remember the race car and how my brother Jeff loved to talk "cars" with Pete. I remember your daughter, Dania, hanging out with us bigger kids as we walked between the motel and our backyard, or played ball. My sincere condolences to the family.

I will miss all the fun we had when I was growing up, all the things you taught me you were the reason I joined the USMC just the thought of not talking to you for advice is something that I never saw coming there are no words to express my gratitude for all you taught and done for me I will miss you I loved you like my own brother and will never forget you
