Frank J. Matherne

A father, brother, husband and friend, Frank Joseph Matherne was born in Raceland, LA on December 21, 1951 and passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2014. He is survived by his wife Regina Roux Matherne of 28 years and his children, Corey Matherne (Kara), Lonnie Matherne (Lauren), Paul Egle (Mandy), and Traci Egle Dufrene (Rickey). A proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren, Dylan, Grace, Justin, Jacob, Kyle, Gabrielle, Leigha, Gabrielle, Emma, Lily and Reid.

“Pop”, “Francois”, “Key” “Frank O”, “Frankie” or Frank worked as an operator for Monsanto Chemical Plant for 30 years. He enjoyed taking his grandchildren on hunting and fishing trips, cooking, outdoors, traveling on his motorcycle and spending time with family and friends. “Pop” will be missed dearly by his family, friends and will forever stay in their hearts forever.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at 11:00 am at his home, 10707 Highway 90, Luling, LA.
