Gage Scott Matherne

Gage Scott Matherne entered into eternal rest on April 20, 2018 at approximately 9:30 in the morning. Born March 9, 1996 in New Orleans, Louisiana, Gage was known for his magnetic and charming personality; he never met a stranger and made friends everywhere he went. He was a compassionate young man who had all the energy in the world. A hard worker who perservered and tackled challenges head-on, Gage also had a strong love for his sisters and family. This tragic loss of a twenty-two year old is grieved by his mother Jennifer Owen; Stepfather Terry Key; Great-great grandmother Jerri Matherne; Step grandmother Pamala Pitre; Sisters Nia Key, Seleste Key, and Kylee Matherne; Brothers Justin Bowers, and Dylan Machado; Girlfriend Alexis Asevedo, along with a host of aunts and uncles who are left behind to cherish his memory. He is preceded in death by his great-great grandfather Able Matherne, grandmother Mary Matherne, father Jeffery Matherne and brother Trey Stahl. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday April 24, 2018 from 5:00pm-9:00pm.
