Gary "Pa" Anthony Theriot

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Leah Mollere Theriot; children, Gay Theriot Denesse (Butch), Todd Anthony Theriot (Lisa); Grandchildren, Ivy McDonald, Anna Theriot, Amanda Theriot; Siblings, Randy Theriot, Diane Smith, Genevieve “Genny” Webb. He is also survived by a close friend, Ann Palermo, and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lillian and Gilbert Theriot; sister, Lillian St. Amant.

Gary was extremely creative. He was a self-taught artist. He worked primarily in glass blowing and sculpting. He enjoyed home life, gardening, carpentry, and spending time with his family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, July 16th 2015 from 10:00 am until 12:00pm at Visitation of Our Lady Catholic Church-Marrero. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12:00 pm at Visitation of Our Lady Catholic Church-Marrero. Burial will follow at Westlawn Cemetery-Gretna.
