Glenda Prestenbach Folse passed away on Saturday, May 24. 2025 at the age of 77. She was born in Thibodaux, Louisiana and resided on the Westbank for most of her life. Glenda is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ann MacBurney, step-father, Michael MacBurney and her loving companion, Lloyd Rivere, Sr. Loving mother of Alicia Davis (Alvin) and Korie Folse (Pattie). Proud grandmother of Ariel Brown (Marvin), Rebeka Wischan (Justin), Chloe Prestenback (Seth) and Zachary Davis and great-grandmother of Marvin, IV, Sophie, Christopher, Esther, Theo, Penelope and Hendrix. Sister of Cynthia Herman (Chuck). Godmother of Anita Prestenbach and Caitlin Hector. Glenda is also survived by other extended family and friends.
Glenda enjoyed dancing, watching Saints football, and never saw a craft that she couldn't do better herself. She also enjoyed a glass of rum and coke, eating crawfish and hosting all of the holiday family gatherings but most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Glenda was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
