Gloria Marie Falgout

Gloria Louviere Falgout passed away on September 23, 2023 at the age of 86. She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Eddie Falgout; her daughters JoAnn Roberson (Lee) and Cheryl Sokol (Robert); her granddaughter Breann Sokol Daigle (Patrick) and great-grandson Winston Daigle; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Zelma Autin and Randolph Louviere, and brother, Gerald Louviere.

Born in 1936 in Boutte, Gloria moved to Bridge City where she met her husband, Eddie. They were wed a few years later in Bridge City in June of 1953. A homemaker her whole life, Gloria loved raising her two daughters and taking care of her granddaughter. She loved to cook, and especially enjoyed making pepper jelly and cakes for anyone who wanted them.

Gloria was adored by all who knew her. She lived a long, joyous life but will be dearly missed by her friends and family.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero.
