Funeral services for Jeanette Marie Long will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 1:00pm in the chapel of Westside funeral home. Visitation will begin at 9:00AM until the time of service. Interment will be in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery Gates of Heaven Mausoleum.
Mrs. Long, 67, a lifetime resident of Westwego, LA entered into eternal rest on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, LA surrounded by family. Mrs. Long was preceded in death by her parents, Edith and Irvin Dufrene, husband, Vernon Long, son, Mark Long and sisters, Mary Dufrene and Martha Carmadelle. Those left to cherish in her memory are sisters, Betty Wade and Pearl Dupre, one son, Michael Long (Tiffany) of Pineville, LA, daughter in law Tammy Long, grandchildren, Chad, Mecia, Whitney, Joshua, Olivia, Sarah and great grandchildren, Landon, Tate, Titan, Brooklyn and Dallas.
