Jerry Lee Gros

Jerry Lee Gros passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, August 2nd, 2021 at the age of 80. Mr. Gros was a native of Barataria, Louisiana, a resident of the Monroe area for several years, and moved back to Lafitte in 2014 after the passing of his wife of 54 years, Janet Bundy Gros. Devoted father of Gary Joseph Gros (Joy) and Danny Anthony Gros (Bonnie). Grandfather of Gary Jr., Misty, Chelsey, Chris Jr., and Kerri. Great grandfather of Madison, Chris III, and Nathan. Brother of Pearl Kuhn (Frank), Mildred Chaisson (Jerry), and Russel Gros. Godfather of Patty Braud (Craig) and Timmy Danos (Pam). Jerry is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Velma Gros.

A Catholic funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, August 23rd, 2021 in the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. A visitation will begin at 9:00AM and continue until the service. Interment will follow at Little Village Cemetery in Barataria, Louisiana.
