Joan Begovich Cheramie passed away Saturday, June 4, 2022 at the age of 86. She was born on December 10, 1935 to the late Dominick and Josephine Territo Begovich, Sr. Beloved wife of 68 years to Milton J. Cheramie. Mother of Regan Cheramie and Ryan Cheramie (Devaney). Grandmother of Marilyn, Karlie, Anna and Allie. Great grandmother of Archer and Alice. Sister of Elmire Norman and Dominick Begovich Jr. Joan is also survived by many extended family and dear friends.
Joan was a native of Harvey Louisiana and was a resident of Marrero for the past 62 years. She was a self-employed hair stylist. She loved her family immensely and lived life to the fullest. Joan was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation on Monday June 6, 2022 beginning at 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at St. Rosalie Catholic Church, 601 2nd Avenue, Harvey, LA. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Church for 1 p.m. and interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park in Gretna.
