There are so many great memories. He was more than a dad. He was my best friend. From everyday life, work, decisions, golf, fishing, vacations and so many more things. When a dad shaves your bald head, and gives you a $20 bill, and you refuse it, he would be insulted. It's hard to explain the love and appreciation he had for me. He wanted to see the smiles on people's faces when doing kind and generous things for them. He would move mountains for his family and friends. I hope he realized that his life on earth met more to me than any dollar amount. The hardest part is not waking up to see him every morning, not sharing football and golf stories or taking adventure rides on the weekends. His spirit is all over his home. God bless him and take care of him until we meet again.

Brother John ... proud to be able to call him my friend and brother, since 1961, at S.J. Peters Jr High and Warren Easton.
In all those years, he was ALWAYS quick to respond to a friend in need’s call for help. He never met a stranger, and the loyalty and goodness of his heart, kept him front and center of all our memories.
R.I.P. my friend ...you’ve lived a sterling life, that simple ended WAY too soon!

About two weeks ago I passed by a school off Canal St. where my aunt , his mom Mary had taken me to see him graduate from kindergarten. Seems like just a short time ago. How fast it went. He was a good little boy and a fine man , one to be admired.
