John O'Donahue Jr.

John A. O’Donahue, Jr., was called home to our Heavenly Father on Saturday, February 4, 2012. He was 55 years old. He was a lifelong resident of Gretna for 38 years. He is survived by his beloved wife Carol Krecek O’Donahue to whom he was married for 31 years. They have two daughters, Stacey O’Donahue Gulett (Phillip) and Brandy Ann O’Donahue. He is also survived by his stepdaughters, April Knobloch, Twanda Johnson (Juan Delaney, Sr.), and Michaela Leman.; grandchildren Shealynne A. Gulett and Breanna M. Gulett; as well as step grandchildren R.J. , Brooke, and Aubrey Fortmayer, Juan Jr., De’ron, and Paris Delaney, and Mya Rodriguez. Son of the late John A. O’Donahue, Sr. and Sylvia B. O’Donahue. Brother of the late Patrick M. O’Donahue Sr. (the late Lynne M. O’Donahue). He also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He will be sadly missed.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 9:00 PM. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until funeral time. Interment will be private at a later date.
