Mr John Theron Reynolds

John Theron Reynolds went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on April 19, 2023 at the age of 94. He was born in Grand Bayou, LA, but resided in Shreveport until his marriage and moved to Avondale, LA.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 61 years, Patricia Myers Reynolds, his sons John "Johnny" and Doyle (Angelic), his granddaughters Danielle Reveron (Alex), Lindsey Reynolds, Cheyenne Green (Beaux) and Paris Soto (Alejandro), great granddaughters, Aleah Brown, Emma Brown, Laniee Reynolds and Korra Reveron, great grandsons Waylon Green and soon to be expected Giovanni Soto, sister Janet Todd, a host of nieces, nephews, friends and the membership of First Baptist Church Avondale.

Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by his parents John Theron, Sr and Oizelle Reynolds, brother Robert Reynolds and sister Ellen Phares.

John was a graduate of Byrd High School in Shreveport and the University of Houston. He worked as an Appliance Technician all of his life.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Avondale where he served on various committees over the years.

He loved visiting with family and friends and talking about the "Good ol' Days".

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 9:00am with service at 11:00am. Interment at Oak Grove Cemetery, 23174 Hwy 40, Loranger, LA at 3:00pm.

He will be truly and deeply missed by every soul that he touched.
