Johnny "Buddy" Claude Williamson

Johnny Claude Williamson entered peacefully into heaven on Sunday, May 21, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Claudia Richardson Williamson. A loving father of Darren Williamson (Lynn) and Steven Williamson (Jenny ). A proud grandfather of Cameron Williamson and Erynn Williamson. Son of the late Claudia Mae Williamson and Jesse Williamson. Brother of Jesse Williamson(Doris), Harold Williamson, Gladys Lott and Julia Williams. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

“Buddy” served his country in the United States Air Force during 1955 thru 1958 where he received an Honorable Discharge. After the service he worked as a truck driver and retired from the Oil Industry as an Off Shore Cook. He enjoyed cooking, telling stories and spending time with family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expy., Marrero, LA on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Friday, 9:00 am until Mass time. Interment following in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Avondale, LA.
