Joseph Anthony Wisemen passed away on Monday, February 9, 2015 at the age of 74. Son of the late Emma Plaisance Wiseman and Felix Wiseman, Sr. Brother of Jean Wiseman, Franklin Wiseman (Cathleen) and preceded in death Felix Wiseman, Jr., Ernest Wiseman (Edna), Thomas Wiseman and his sisters, Leola W. Bourgeois (Lloyd), Leona W. Gauthier(John Lewis). His is survived by his sister-in-law Zelda Wiseman. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Joseph was born in New Orleans, LA and lifelong resident of Barataria, LA. He was a retired commercial fisherman who loved to fish, hunt, and spend time with family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St Anthony Catholic Church in Lafitte, LA on Friday, February 13, 2015 at 11:00 am. Visitation from 9:00 am until Mass time. Interment following in St. Pius Cemetery in Crown Point, LA.
