We are sad to announce the passing of Joycelyn P. Robichaux of Waggaman, LA at the age of 79 on Sunday, August 2nd at 2:08 PM. She is joining her late husband Charles R Robichaux of 49 years in heaven. She is the daughter of the late Walter Prestenberg Sr. and Clarabell Hemmerling.
She is survived by her brother, Walter Prestenberg Jr (Bonnie), her sons Raymond (Tammy) and Mark Robichaux, 7 Grandchildren: Christopher (Amanda), Clinton (Teri), Katelyn (Killyle), Christina, Raquel, Katelyn, Angel, 9 Great Grandchildren: Zoe, Xander, Brayden, Arya, Kamden, Kalayah, Pheobe, Khalani, and Emelia and nieces Kim (Marshall) and Kelly (Sixto). She will be sadly missed by the ones who called her Mom, Maw Maw, Granny and Nanny
She is loved by many other family member and friends including a wonderful family friend Bruce Gomez who was always there when she needed him, a special friend Sheila Sylvester, and fabulous friends and neighbors Ricky and Juanita Ahysen.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation for Joyce on Saturday, August 8, 2026 beginning at 9:00 am at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero followed by the Funeral Service at 1:00 pm. Joyce will be laid to rest at Holy Angels Cemetery in Avondale.
