Jude Michael Chauvin-Smith

Jude Michael Chauvin-Smith “Mini-Mexican”, lived an amazing but short life. On Monday, July 9, 2012 at the age of 6 months, Jude was taken from us due to complications of AT/RT brain cancer. The beloved son of Kat and Ashley Chauvin, the loving grandson of Hield and Gail Smith, the late Jane L. Smith and the late Catherine and Junius Chauvin. God-son of Jessica, Jamie and Kevin Chauvin. Survived by numerous aunts, uncles and a host of other family members and dear friends. The family wishes to acknowledge with highest regards, the remarkable care and love given by the staff of Children’s Hospital in New Orleans.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services at WESTSIDE/LEITZ-EAGAN, 5101 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY, MARRERO, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2012 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 followed by services in the Chapel. Burial to be held at Westlawn Cemetery.
