Kathy Diane Pulliam

She was born on October 24, 1964 in Bessemer, AL. She was a resident of Marrero, LA for the past 56 years. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Kathy was the beloved partner of Kerry Monfra for 22 years and the mother of their late son, Kyle Monfra. She is survived by her parents, Ernest Frederick and Joyce Baker; her mother in love, Beulah Monfra. Other surviving relatives are her siblings, Larry Frederick Sr. (Sheila) and Debbie Frederick Mavor (Dennis); nieces and nephews David Faircloth (Carey), Carrie Johnson, Barbara Faircloth, Larry Frederick Jr. (Kayla), Lindsay Mavor (Brett), and Eric Mavor Sr. (Tabitha) ; as well as great nieces and nephews Lucas, Melrose, Allusion (Jason), Leo, Gunner, Daxx, Everett, Eric Jr., Lily, and Jacob. She is also survived by the Monfra family members, including her favorite God-child, Kaegan Monfra Whittington (Joe), as well as their children, Paris, Damien, Bella, and Star; as well as Kerry's children, Kenneth Privitt Sr., Daniel Privitt, (Mallory), Kristen Monfra (Aaron). and Korey Monfra; his grandchildren Kenneth Jr., Rachelle, Autumn, Blakeleigh, Rylan, Kolden, Alaina, Arie, Emmerson, and Kade; nephew, John Cheramie; close cousin Sue Ellen Monfra. Kathy will also be missed by aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends, including her close friend, Susan Autin.

She is preceded in death by her son, Kyle Paris Monfra; her grandparents, Jewel and Madie Jernigan, and Irene Logan; along with the Monfra family of Annette (Danny), Lance, Shocky, and Guy Cheramie.

Kathy had a heart of gold and never met a stranger. She was always helping someone less fortunate than herself. Kathy was a big Saints fan and loved her pets very much. She will be forever missed, but never forgotten.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery. Express condolences at www.westsideleitzeagan.com.
