Kent Joseph DeLorenzo Sr.

He was the beloved husband and Italian Stallion of Robyn S. DeLorenzo. Father of Natasha Ann Valdez and Kent Joseph DeLorenzo Jr. (Jeni) Grandfather of Chantel Ann Valdez, and great grandfather of Kobie Alexander Pendleton and Kanzley Ann Pendleton. Son of the late Sal Emile DeLorenzo Sr. and Lillian Mae Robert DeLorenzo. Brother of Pamela DeLorenzo Hartman (Hilray), Sal Emile DeLorenzo Jr. (Sanky), and Dominic Anthony DeLorenzo (Angel). He is also survived by three nephews, five nieces, other relatives, and friends, as well as his canine companions, Fancy and Sing, and his faithful tortoise, Champ.

He was lifelong resident of Waggaman, where he was affectionately known as the "Mayor of South Kenner Avenue." He was a heavy equipment operator for Wallace Drennan. Since retirement he has enjoyed woodworking and crafts. He was largely a homebody, and loved the view from his front porch or swing. He loved his seafood and wine. He did enjoy picking on those he loved, and did not pass up an opportunity to cause a little entertaining chaos.

A Visitation will be held in the Parlor of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, on Friday, August 12, 2022 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
