Leslie was a graduate of Belle Chasse High School. He served in the US Air Force for over 20 years, retiring in 1971 at the rank of Technical Sergeant. He was a marksman in the Air Force, and continued to shoot competitively throughout the United States well into his senior adult years. He loaded his own ammo for competition, and traded and sold guns, even getting his firearms dealer's license. He loved to cook, taking most of the cooking duties for his family for years, and after he retired, he would take rotations cooking for off shore rigs. He would even carry his own pots and pans with him to and from the rigs, so that he had what he needed, but no one else touched his stuff. He love fishing, especially from the rigs.
Services will be private. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.WestsideLeitzEagan.com for the Kimble family.
