Lorraine Mary Thiel passed away on Friday, July 20, 2012 at the age of 55. Daughter of the late Alma Alexie Thiel and Frank N. Thiel Jr, and granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank R. Thiel. Mother of Gary Thiel and Tiffani (Niki) Thiel. Sister of Tim Thiel, Keith Thiel, and the late Gary L. Thiel, as well as sister-in-law of Vanda Thiel. Grandmother of Samantha Malone, Cain McCoy, Blaise McCoy, and Liberty McCoy. She is also survived by her virtual sister, Alma Jasper. She was the Godmother of Miranda Thiel, Vinny LeBeau, Stephanie Wetmore and the late Keith Thiel Jr. She also had a multitude of aunts, uncles, and cousins from the Alexie and LeBeau families. Lifelong resident of Harvey. Graduate of L.W. Higgins High School. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM.
