Louis Joseph Parria Sr.

Louis Joseph Parria Sr., 76, and lifelong resident of Lafitte, LA, born on February 05, 1944 has passed away on December 31, 2020. He is now reunited with his loving wife of 58 years, Brenda Ann Parria. Louis was a father of seven children; Louis Parria Jr. (Christy), Gavin Parria Sr. (Melissa), Jenna Caminita (John), Lesa Davis, and Ross Parria Sr. (Irene), as well as the late Kip Parria and Michelle Parria. He was grandfather to 15 grandchildren, great- grandfather to 20 great-grandchildren, including the late Liam Greco, and brother to Shirley Rogers, Patsy Touchard, Elizabeth Kerner, and the late Gillis Parria Sr. Louis was an avid fisherman and spent over 60 years of his life as a commercial fisherman in Lafitte. He also enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family whenever he could.

Family and friends are invited to join us for a visitation at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Laffite located at 2653 Jean Lafitte Blvd on Thursday January 07, 2020 at 9 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass beginning at 12 PM.
