Manuel C. Barthelemy, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 2:22 AM. Age 47 years and a resident of Jefferson Parish for many years. Beloved son of Manuel C. Barthelemy, Sr. and Sieglinde Bergmann Barthelemy. Father of Seth Barthelemy, and Angel Barthelemy (Katrina). Grandfather of Seth Cole Barthelemy and Sophie Belle Barthelemy. Devoted Companion of Kismet Stuart. Sister of Manuella S. Harrison (Shawn). Manuel will be deeply missed by his coworkers and friends at Mr. B’s Bistro. He was the former director and instructor of the Davant Swimming Pool in Plaquemine Parish for many years, and worked for Bourne Electric. Relatives and friends of the family, also members of the Zulu Social Aid and Pleasure Club are invited to participate and attend the Funeral Mass at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 455 Ames Blvd, Marrero, LA on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 10:00 AM. Visitation will begin after 8:00 AM until 9:45AM. Interment will follow at St. Louis #2 Cemetery, New Orleans, LA. Following graveside services, a Repast will be celebrated at both the Panda King Restaurant 925 Behrman Hwy #1, Gretna, LA and the Zulu Social Aid and Pleasure Club, 722. N.
