Mary Anne Humphreys passed from this life on Friday, January 29, 2021 due to health issues. Mary Anne was born of August 7, 1940 in Krotz Springs, LA. Mary Anne was the daughter of Robert Lee and Lottie (Sterner) Humphreys. Mary Anne later graduated from Port Barre, LA High School in 1958 where she played saxophone and was on the Women's Basketball Team.
In February 1971, Mary Anne opened Flowers by Lafleur Shoppe on Franklin Dr. in Gretna, LA. In 1987, Mary Anne moved Flowers by Lafleur Shoppe to Lapalco Blvd., Harvey, LA where she worked until she retired.
Mary Anne's service will be held on Friday, February 5, 2021 at First Pentecostal Church Westbank, 3200 Ames Blvd., Marrero, LA. The wake will begin at 11:00 AM, the funeral will be held at 12pm, the interment to follow at Westlawn Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
