Mary Elizabeth Sansone

Mary Elizabeth Sansone entered peacefully into heaven on Friday, July 11, 2014 at the age of 90. She is survived by her children, Melvin Prestenback, Jr. and Nancy Prestenback Zeller (Rodrick). A proud grandmother of Tracy (Keith), Joyceann and Michael and great grandmother of 7 great grandchildren.

Daughter of the late Nancy Pascal Sansone and Andrew Sansone. Preceded in death by her sister, Sarah S. Peppers. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

She retired from Archbishop Shaw High School cafeteria where she was known as the “Fry Lady” for over 15 years.

Mary enjoyed her coffee, cooking for her family, gardening, spending time with family and friends, and just enjoying life.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expy, Marrero, LA., on Monday, July 14, 2014 at 11:00 am.
