Born on January 3, 1943, in Plaucheville, Louisiana, Belle spent her early years there before eventually making her home in Gretna, Louisiana, where she built a life centered around faith, family, and love.
Belle retired after many dedicated years working for Sears Parts. She was known for her strong work ethic, kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering devotion to those she loved.
She was the beloved wife of Wayne Galjour Sr. for over 65 years; devoted mother of Wayne Galjour Jr, Ricky Galjour (Tamara), and Gary Galjour; grandmother of Ricky Galjour Jr. (Javalie Schall), Caitlyn Galjour (Jonathan Landeche), Ryan Galjour (Matalie Galjour), and Gary Galjour Jr.; daughter of the late Audrey Cappell and Worthie Cappell. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Rylan and Kinsley, who she thought were absolutely amazing.
Above all else, Belle loved her family. She enjoyed nothing more than eating out with her loved ones, spending quality time together, and making memories that will be cherished forever. Whether it was a simple meal together or a family gathering, those moments meant the world to her. Her warmth, kindness, and unconditional love touched everyone fortunate enough to know her, and her legacy will continue to live on through the family she cherished so deeply.
Though Belle will be deeply missed, her love, strength, and beautiful spirit will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her memory will continue to inspire those she leaves behind, and the love she shared with her family will never be forgotten.
